Ousby Parish Council represents the villages of Ousby and Melmerby, set at the foot of the Pennine hills in the beautiful Eden Valley in Cumbria and approximately ten miles from the market town of Penrith.

Each village is individual in its own right but together they share common themes: agriculture, tourism, strong community spirit and a wide diversity of local businesses & voluntary organisations.
